Technology Support
Please use the Service Catalog for all technology help requests. COEHS has an individual page to help you determine they type of work order you need to submit: Service Catalog for COEHS
NOTE: If you encounter a technical issue while teaching or presenting in a classroom or conference room and need immediate assistance, please call the main KATE office at x 5360, and they will find a technician to assist you.
Technology Placement and Moving
Please use the Service Catalog for all technology move and placement requests. This includes office moves. Please make sure to use the "General Computer Support" Request for technology placement and moving.
All technology must be moved by the KATE office to ensure that equipment is kept in working order. The cost of repair/replacement of any damage that occurs in movement of technology not completed by KATE will be charged to the department of the individual responsible for the move.
Technology Planning
The KATE office should be consulted about all technology that will be used within the College of Education and Human Services before final decisions/purchases are made.
This is vital to ensure that:
The technology is compatible with our current systems
The technology will meet the specifications of its intended purpose
Proper preparations are made before implementation
